Steil Issues Debate Challenge Ahead of Tuesday’s Democratic Primary
Steil Challenges his Opponent to Two Debates, One on Each Side of the First Congressional District
Janesville, Wis.—Ahead of tomorrow’s Democratic primary, Congressman Bryan Steil challenges his eventual opponent to two debates, one on each side of Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.
“Throughout my first term in Congress, I have focused on solving issues facing families, workers, and students. Regardless of who emerges as my opponent, it is important for voters to hear directly from the candidates on the issues impacting them. I look forward to answering voters’ questions and highlighting my work to strengthen our communities, help workers get back into the workforce, and build a safe and better future for all,” said Steil.
Debate format and logistics will be decided at a later date to ensure proper public health protocols are in place for members of the public, moderators, and candidates.
