JANESVILLE, Wis. – First Congressional District candidate Bryan Steil released his second TV ad of the general election this weekend. The ad touts Steil’s background building up the local community.

“This ad tells the story of how people working together can have a positive impact in our communities,” said Steil.

“I was proud to be a leader on rebuilding Camden Playground in Palmer Park in Janesville,” Steil continued. “This playground enables all kids, regardless of their abilities, to be able to play with their peers on equal ground without barriers.”

Steil served as the president of Janesville Generations Fund Advisory Board, a charity fund in Janesville that helped support Camden Playground and other community projects, and also volunteered on the construction crew that helped rebuild the playground. With the support of the Janesville Generations Fund, Camden Playground officially re-opened this summer as “one of the world’s most accessible playgrounds.”

The ad includes Sherry Kuelz, who is president and co-founder of CAMDEN Playground and the aunt of Camden, the boy with special needs who inspired the playground.

You can watch the ad, titled “Camden,” here. The ad’s transcript is below:

Sherry K: Camden Playground is in Palmer Park in Janesville, Wisconsin, off Racine Street. We created this playground for all children so that as they grew up together there would be no fear, no prejudice against children with special needs. Bryan Steil is one of our angels for the playground. He really cares about children with special needs and we can tell when he was out here working. That says a lot about Bryan. He’s willing to be out there helping people. This playground is proof that Bryan Steil will represent Wisconsin well.

Bryan Steil: I’m Bryan Steil and I approve this message.

Steil’s second ad will appear on television, digital and social media platforms.
