JANESVILLE, Wis. – First Congressional District candidate Bryan Steil announced today that former Republican Party of Wisconsin chairman Reince Priebus has endorsed his campaign for Congress. Priebus is a Kenosha native, former First District Republican chair, and led the Republican National Committee from 2011-2016 before serving as White House Chief of Staff.

Reince Priebus: “I’ve gotten to know Bryan well over the years, and one thing that’s evident is that Bryan will outwork everyone and serve with purpose. He’ll be a tireless advocate for the people of Kenosha and the entire 1st District. He’ll fight for proven, conservative reforms that will better the lives of everyone in Southeast Wisconsin. He’s the right choice in this race and I’m thrilled to endorse him.”

Bryan Steil was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. He is a member of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents and has a strong background as a business leader. For the past nine years, Bryan has worked for manufacturing companies in Rock County and has learned the importance of fiscal discipline and risks of government red tape. Bryan is running for Congress to reduce government overreach and prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future.
