JANESVILLE, Wis. – First Congressional District candidate Bryan Steil released the following
statement today following his victory in the Republican primary election:
Bryan Steil: “I am honored to have the trust and confidence of the voters in Southeast
Wisconsin. This fall, voters will see a clear contrast between my problem-solving approach and
the far-left policies of my opponent. My opponent wants to take more of your money and send it to Washington. I believe the people of Southeast Wisconsin should keep more of their hard-earned money. I am focused on creating high paying Wisconsin jobs, cutting spending, and lowering the cost of healthcare. I thank my team and supporters for all their hard work over the past few months. I look forward to the next step of the campaign.”
Bryan Steil was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. He is a member of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents and has a strong background as a business leader. For the past nine years, Bryan has worked for manufacturing companies in Rock County and has learned the importance of fiscal discipline and risks of government red tape. Bryan is running for Congress to reduce government overreach and prepare our workforce for the jobs of the future.
